Synthesis of Liliana Belfiore's performance as a Principal Dancer
Liliana has born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and when she danced classical ballet was considered the most distinguished "Ballerina" of her country.
She has performed as Prima Ballerina for the companies of the Teatro Colón and the London Festival Ballet
in which she was in charge of the main roles of Giselle, Sherezade and Espectro De La Rosa, accompanying as co-star the mythical Rudolf Nureyev.
She also participated in the American film Nijinsky.
Belfiore and has been invited on by companiess Vienna Opera, the National Ballet of Cuba, the Bordeaux Opera Ballet and the Ballet de la Opera of Venezuela among others, dancing with them in the main theaters of Europe, Asia, Australia. South America and Central America.
Among her partners, Peter Breuer, Peter Schaufus, Cirile Atanasoff, Patrice Bart, Alan Dubreil, Nicolas Jhonson, Wladimir Harapes and Rudolph Nureyev stand out
.Among the choreographers who have entrusted her creations to her are: George Skibine, Glen Tetley, Ronald Hynd, Oscar Araiz, Alicia Alonso and the already legendary: George Balanchine, Alicia Markova, Leonide Massine and Anton Dolin.

At fifteen, Liliana won the competition to join the ranks of the corps of Ballet Teatro Argentino of La Plata., Also by competition she won the position Corifea.
Liliana was selected by choreographer Oscar Araiz , to be part of his new Contemporary Ballet in the Teatro San Martin of Buenos Aires.
Liliana graduated from the Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires.
Her teachers in the formation period where, Estela Deporte, Bohuslava Kazda, Michel Borovsky and María Ruanova.
At nineteen, she joined the ballet company of the Colon Theater. Also by competition, in three years, Liliana went from corps de ballet to soloist and then to principal dancer.
She was at the Teatro Colón for only fifteen days when George Skibine selcted Liliana to dance the part of Lycean in ¨Daphne and Chloe¨and the principla psrt in ¨Firebird¨. Nearly from her first days at the Colon Theater, Liliana performand the principal roles of their repertoire. ans perfomed the leading roles in ¨Giselle¨, ¨Firebird¨ ,¨Cinderella¨, Odette. / Odile.
At the age of 21, she created her first choreography for Teatro Argentino de La Plata Cinderella a ballet in three acts.
In 1988 and 1989 she performed as a dancer, choreographer and teacher with the “Israeli Classical Ballet”, and the “Jerusalem Ballet Theatre”.]
She also participated in the Argentine-Puerto Rican co-production of the film Esto es Tango.
Teaching activity and distinctions
From 1994 to the present, he carries out his pedagogical work at his ballet school, led and directed the program Con el Arte en el Alma, which is distinguished by the Honorable,2 and by the Secretaries of Culture of the Nation and the Government of the Buenos aires city.
